Reports to: Senior Product Manager

Location : Head office – London

Salary: £28000 Per Annum

Purpose of role

To support the Senior Product Manager and the wider Food Team by looking after our NT Assure, Smart Chef and Comtrex systems and managing any key Zizzi food project Critical Paths.

Accountabilities of the role

  • New suppliers and new products are onboarded uploaded on system
  • Managing timely uploads of supplier product specs
  • Creating and working with critical paths to ensure correct menu and allergen data is supplied to our Marketing, QS and Comms department
  • Responsible for checking Smart Chef with new recipes and specs
  • Comtrex till data and menu mapping details for the programmer
  • Test aggregator and till platforms

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the business analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and identifying competitor trends including pricing analysis, issues, opportunities and gaps. You would produce detailed reports clearly communicating which can be used as the basis of decision-making when implementing new menu and specials briefs
  • Deliver menu launches and cycles of specials in that drives the distinctiveness of Zizzi menu versus competition, attracts new customers, drives loyalty, meets Zizzi food cost objectives and is delivered on time and efficiently into restaurants
  • Working with the Director of Food, monitor and report on Zizzi’s progress versus Azzurri’s ESG targets and Government initiatives. Be able to provide a rag status report, monthly updates and actions at our brand ESG meetings ensuring any brand reputational topics areas such as sugar tax, vegan, organic, and other food and drink groups are fed into menu and/or specials brief
  • Project managing any key Zizzi projects, producing critical paths and action plans, ensuring meetings are booked, communicating how projects are following critical path timelines. Ensuring the projects are delivered as per KPI’s
  • You will be a contact between departments, ensuring we have a completely joined up approach and projects are fully communicated and briefed

Other responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing team to deliver timely, accurate and successful menu launch campaigns, including playing a supportive role in photo shoots
  • Responsible for end to end accurate data inputting on multiple systems
  • Helping to develop actions plans against customer experience feedback on food quality to drive up customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop (Launch Packs), Ensuring strong relationships with operators and food training team
  • Enhance existing and build new relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and consistency of products and work with them to deliver new/improved products for the business
  • Organise menu and Retail tastings

Key requirements

  • Strong IT system skills
  • Very strong planning and organisational skills
  • A very keen eye for detail, systematic approach and a thirst for getting under the skin of detail are essential to this role.
