About the role…
Are you passionate about supporting young people and their families through challenges related to substance use and sexual health?

As a Children Young People Families Practitioner (CYPF), you’ll have the opportunity to provide dedicated and focused support with manageable caseloads.
We are seeking individuals with experience in youth work, substance misuse support, health and wellbeing, or recent graduates with a background in psychology, counselling, youth work, or social work.

Join our committed and diverse team of approximately 14 staff members in Lewisham as we address issues impacting young people and families in our community.

About Insight Lewisham:
Insight Lewisham is dedicated to supporting the well-being of young people and families facing challenges related to substance use and sexual health. Our team provides comprehensive support across various pathways, including substance use intervention, sexual health education, support for families and carers, and our award-winning Parenting Programme.

About You:
As a prospective CYPF practitioner, we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and eager to make a difference. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience in services supporting children, young people, or adults.
  • Knowledge or experience in substance misuse support services.
  • Experience working in educational settings, youth clubs, pupil referral units, youth offending teams, or youth well-being services.
  • Hold or be working towards a recognized degree in psychology, counselling, youth work, or social care.
