Responsibilities

  • The responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and applicant tracking systems, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation

Reports to: Recruitment Manager

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000

Position Type:

This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, 9-5pm, hours may vary and MUST be flexible with scheduling.

Objective:

We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our HR team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings. The responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and applicant tracking systems, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. The Recruiter will also monitor new and existing employee files / folders along with fully onboarding new hires.

Work Environment: This job operates in an office environment. There will be occasional travel to our shelter sites and/or supportive housing site locations throughout New York City as needed, except Staten Island.
