Responsibilities

  • The Tenant Coordination Specialist plays a key role in supporting households through the housing process, from voucher acquisition to housing placement and long-term stability
  • Reporting to the Tenant Coordination Supervisor, the Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for tenants, working closely with government agencies, nonprofits, and the internal team and will be required to develop an expertise in NYC housing subsidies and processes
  • Assist tenants and property providers with navigating the housing process, including vouchers, payments, repairs, and other housing needs
  • Serve as a liaison between tenants and property owners
  • Collaborate with the Housing Acquisitions and Operations teams to support housing placements
  • Coordinate move-ins, including unit viewings, lease paperwork, furniture selection, and financial processing
  • Facilitate communication between tenants and property providers to ensure smooth lease-up, move-in, and housing stability
  • Provide ongoing aftercare services, such as home visits and phone calls, to monitor tenant safety, address rental or utility issues, and support housing voucher recertification
  • Respond to housing and tenant emergencies, both during and after regular business hours
  • Assist tenants with reasonable accommodations and ADA compliance
  • Submit and follow up on maintenance requests while maintaining accurate and confidential records

Anthos|Home is a groundbreaking startup dedicated to housing vulnerable New Yorkers. We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Tenant Coordination Specialist to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of those in need of stable housing.

The Role:

The Tenant Coordination Specialist plays a key role in supporting households through the housing process, from voucher acquisition to housing placement and long-term stability.
