• As a Sales/Cashier, you will drive sales and service through Century 21’s Core Values
• All register complex activities related to purchases, returns, and exchanges are under your responsibilities
• Furthermore, activities related to selling and service, merchandise standards, store maintenance, and shortage prevention are additional responsibilities you will have as a Sales/Cashier
• Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and provide help as needed
• Accurately scan items, handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and issue receipts
• Assist customers with returns and exchanges, ensuring adherence to company policies
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized complex and self-checkout area
• Maintain a high sense of urgency to complete fast price check inquiries and complete the sale to avoid delays at the register complex
• Be highly aware of any possible internal or external theft and alert Loss Prevention when necessary
• Understand the operation of the cash register and follow all cash handling procedures
• Attendance and Punctuality is a requirement
• Operate registers and perform general checkout functions
• Ensure a speedy checkout as needed
• Friendly, helpful, and able to assist guests with a variety of needs

THE ROLE
