Our cleaners play a vital role in always keeping the Arriva Rail London/ London Overground clean and presentable, which is essential for our trains to run smoothly. We have a brand-new opportunity available within our Traincare team and are on the hunt for an Office based cleaner where you will carry out office cleaning duties in line with our safety and quality standards, improving the working environment for our colleagues across the network.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for carrying out office cleaning duties in line with established specifications in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner whilst constantly seeking to improve quality, ensuring that you are working in line with all occupational health & safety, loss control and quality standards, schedules and practices.

You will be working across the network, ensuring that all Traincare place of work facilities are kept clean and in good working order, whilst ensuring that all defects are reported.

Within this role you will adhere to all local procedures and methods, outlined by the individual locations of the depots.

You will assist in ensuring continuous development of office cleaning standards, materials, practices and principles in like with statutory safety standards. .

You will also be responsible for undertaking various accommodation cleaning tasks, as well as any additional tasks outlined by your line manager.
Qualifications:
-
Customer orientated professional who has an understanding how vital the traincare team is for the London Overground.
-
Any past cleaning and maintenance experience, ideally with a knowledge of COSHH, as well as someone who is environmentally conscious.

Ideally you will have experience with security awareness, but this isn’t essential.

Experience in working as part of a team.

Communication skills both written and verbal.
