  • £12.08 Per Hour plus shift allowance on Wednesday and Thursday
  • Tuesday to Saturday
  • Working Hours:
    Tue 10am -3pm 5 hours
    Wed 6am – 11am 5 hours ( Shift Allowance £8.14 )
    Thurs 6am – 11am 5 Hours ( Shift Allowance £ 8.14 )
    Fri 10am – 3pm 5 Hours
    Sat 10am – 3pm 5 Hours

We are recruiting for a Staff Shop Assistant at our manufacturing site based in Harrow, London. The site specialises in making chilled pizzas, employs around 850 people and is situated in North London, with good public transport links available.

 

The Role

 

To provide friendly and engaging customer service for all using the Staff Shop. Member of a small team in a fast-paced environment delivering accurate cash handling, manual handling duties such as arranging stock replenishment and rotation and meeting all compliance guidelines including products dates and temperatures.

 

The successful candidate must have
• Excellent communication skills and a confident manner

• Ability to work on own

• Numerical skills

• Manual Handling experience

• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Role Accountabilities and duties will include
• Always deal professionally and politely with customer

• Responsible for processing card and cash payments, reconciliation, banking accurately

• Ordering stock on-line and via the telephone from suppliers and internal departments

• Replenish and display stock in an organised, presentable way both chilled and ambient merchandise

• Ensure stock rotation is adhered to and charities informed for last day of life products

• Complete chilled temperature checks reporting any maintenance issues

• Accurately complete all documentation and reports in a timely manner

• Arrange with internal departments collection of trays, food and paper waste
