The Role :
We’re looking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer who is passionate about music and DJ culture to play a key role in overseeing and evolving the Mixcloud brand. You will be the sole designer within a small marketing department, working with the team to expand our visual brand and produce highly engaging content.
You will create assets for on- and off-platform marketing, and will continuously collaborate with members of the marketing and product design teams to drive impact across all touchpoints. You are a master of evaluating performance to optimise your output and have a strong knowledge of what works across different marketing channels.

We’re looking for a proactive individual who understands the power of branding, enjoys strategic thinking and has a deep understanding of design.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and grow Mixcloud’s visual brand
  • Deliver on-brand marketing campaigns from concept to execution
  • Use performance insights to inform creative strategies
  • Create graphic assets for paid marketing, partnerships, email, newsletters, blog and on-platform touchpoints
  • Create motion graphics using existing templates
  • Edit and repurpose videos
  • Oversee brand continuity across organic marketing
  • Oversee freelance videographers, animators and graphic designers when needed

Your Technical Skills:

  • Expert: Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Advanced: After Effects (Use of existing templates)
  • Proficient: Video editing (Social media and Youtube video content)
  • Intermediate: Figma (On-platform assets for the product team and workshops)
  • Basic: AI prompts (ie: Midjourney for image creation)

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in owning the visual output of a brand
  • Experienced in working alongside a Product Design team
  • Experienced in producing creative for a well oiled paid function
  • Autonomous in problem solving and time management
  • Ability to spot strategic opportunities and bring creative ideas to life
  • A humble team player who sees no task as too small
  • Proven experience in driving engagement through output
  • Ability to drive the brand and vision forward
  • Ability to articulate ideas and present to the wider company
  • Manages clear and efficient organisation of marketing assets
  • Has a growth mindset and enjoys continuously upskilling and self learning
  • Happy working in a remote-first environment
  • A fan of music and DJ culture
  • Based in the UK

We have a remote-first work culture, although we still have an office in London (Brick Lane) available for anyone to use. We’re a culturally active bunch, with many of us pursuing our passions as DJs, radio hosts or creatives.
