OS Sampling Production is a Fashion Sampling and Production Studio in London, NW10 6FF. We provide high quality sampling and production services, make eveningwear and made to measure garments. We work with all kinds of materials including leather and stretch fabrics. Our production studio is fully equipped with modern range of specialized industrial machines for full production cycle of a wide range of garments. Our goal is to provide top quality, efficient and value for money service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Sewing and assembling garments from beginning to completion of final product using technical production patterns, sewing instructions or samples. Be able to make garment from start to finish.
• Perform garment-sewing tasks, including but not limited to stitching, hemming, attaching zippers, sewing pockets and making alterations as per customer’s requirements.
• Accurately read and interpret work orders, production patterns and sewing instructions.
• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, overlocks and other related equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any sewing-related issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, equipment and materials.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience as Garment Seamstress.
• Ability to sew and assemble garments from beginning to completion of final product.
• In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques, fabric properties and sewing machine operations.
• Proficient in various sewing techniques.
• Ability to work with different types of fabrics and materials, including delicate and stretch fabrics.
• Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines, overlocks and related equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Time management and organizational skills to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking direction effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safe working practices.

Beneficial:

• Formal training or certification in sewing, garment construction or a related fashion field is desirable.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
