About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Lithgow Region.

As part of our General Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment process through our Recruitment and Onboarding (ROB) portal, whilst advising recruitment steps and process. Your new role will see you well supported by like-minded, friendly colleagues, as you hit the ground running.

Key to your success will be your ability to liaise with line manager and convenors, recommending, and providing solutions on advertising requirements coupled with coordinating interviews, processing on-boarding and security clearances.

Ideally, the successful candidate brings a dedicated background in a high volume processing environment along with a flair to communicate in a confident and professional manner across all levels. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate effective time management skills with a high attention to detail as you draft confidential documentation such as letters of offer. In addition, excellent skills across MS Office, recruitment systems, and spreadheet/database platforms will be beneficial in securing this interesting and busy role. Apply Today!

What you will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative functions within a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to understand and interpret NSW Health Industry Awards and Agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use initiative, judgment and discretion in a flexible and creative manner.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with a focused and responsive approach to managing customer enquiries.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in the use of Microsoft packages such as email, spreadsheets, databases and word processing applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a team, as well as the ability to work independently, and show initiative and judgment in proposing solutions to challenges.
