The purpose of the Production Operative is to ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of the production lines whilst working in line with Westmill’s quality procedures.

Key accountabilities include:

• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures ensuring that the work environment is safe at all times. Any issues to be escalated.
• Comply with all Food Safety and quality policies and procedures, by taking responsibility for the safety, legality and quality of products manufactured. Any issues to be escalated.
• Ensure hygiene/GMP are maintained in line BRC standards (clean as you go)
• To run the production lines in the most efficient manner in order to hit the daily production plan. Any faults/downtimes to be communicated to a line technician/engineer.
• Attend team briefs
