You will be part of an administrative team providing support to our clinical teams.
The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, patient focussed and knowledgeable point of contact. The job summary is described below:
Working closely with the team leader, to be a key contact for the service for all patient related and administrative matters.
To be the key contact for the organisation of out-patient clinics, including clinic reduction/cancellations and making of urgent appointments.
Provide PPC/secretarial support to at least two consultants and their associated teams and gastro services.
To monitor/validate patients throughout their pathway, from point of entry, escalating issues promptly, in order to ensure compliance with waiting time standards.
As required, support the coordination of national and local audits by effective data collection.
