  • Identify and develop long term partnerships and collaborative activities with PAGs that benefit the wider AstraZeneca company as well as the patients the PAGs look to serve and support.
  • Own the process by which we appropriately engage with PAGs as they seek to inform decisions on patient access to the latest innovations, working closely with the Market Access team.
  • Identify and direct appropriate activities to enhance the visibility of the company leadership to build on our reputation in this space.
  • Work seamlessly with internal communications to ensure company leadership on patient engagement is communicated to staff at the right times, bringing in the patient and/or PAG voice where appropriate to various company events and through various company channels of communication.
  • Work closely with relevant colleagues in AZ’s Global Corporate Affairs to contribute to the further development of AstraZeneca’s Patient Centricity and Patient Advocacy work globally, ensuring that all external and internal activities are well coordinated and synergistic.
  • Ensure all transfer of value reporting of funds to PAGs is dealt with correctly and in a timely manner.
