What’s a yokocho?

Yokocho is Japanese for an alleyway, these famously narrow streets packed with delicious restaurants, dive bars and izakaya sit hidden off the main streets in every city of Japan.

Pay rate: £11.44/ hour PLUS tips, and service charge

Working hours: We have full and part time jobs available to suit your individual circumstances. As we are a restaurant, the hours normally include late nights and weekends. However, we can be flexible to find days that suit you, so you can work around your studies, family and personal commitments.

At Yokocho we aim to deliver an immersive Japanese Yokocho experience to all our guests. We want to create amazing memories and feelings for every customer and Team Member.

To help us achieve this, we’re on the search for a Superstar Chef to join us! Your role is to become the master your section and create the finest and ultimate feast to wow every guest.

What qualities are we seeking?

• We are looking for a Superstar Kitchen Assistant with previous experience in the kitchen, if you do not have experience- you just need the passion to learn.
• Someone with undying love and passion for cooking
• Someone excited by the opportunity to deliver the Yokocho experience to our guests.
