As a Nursery Practitioner at Willow Tree Nursery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You will work closely with a team of experienced early childhood professionals to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

– Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development

– Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

– Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care

– Keeping accurate records of children’s progress and development

– Supporting children with personal care routines, such as meal times and naps

– Encouraging children to explore and discover the world around them

To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements for the role include:

– Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

– Previous experience working in a childcare setting

– Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

– Enhanced DBS check

– Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
