Join Our Team: Group Safety Advisor at The Sureserve Group (Fixed Term Contract)

Overview of Role:

We are seeking a proactive Group Safety Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of all workplace environments in line with health and safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across all sites.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff on best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and propose corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and audits.
  • Report directly to senior management on all safety-related matters.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
  • Coordinate risk assessments and hazard evaluations in all operational environments.

Required Attributes

  • Professional qualification in Health and Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within compliance or energy services sector
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
