Facilities Management

Responsible for providing functional and systems expertise in the hospital’s Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) software systems including Archibus, Power Bi, Hospital Technical Document Management System (Ehco), VFA, Honeywell, Convergent and Windows of World. This position assembles data related to the facilities infrastructure, space, projects and condition assessments and generates Business Intelligent reports from BI server.

Rate of Pay: $30.16 per hour – $37.72 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a two(2) years diploma in Business or Computer Programming/Analyst or related field
  • 3 Year Diploma preferred
  • Archibus CAFM Database System Certification, Database Administration and Microsoft Office Systems preferred
  • Minimum 1 year recent, related job experience preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and use of Archibus/CAFM, database management and Microsoft software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MOHLTC reporting requirements
  • Project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects
  • Knowledge of LHSC infrastructure and mechanical systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to interact positively and effectively with public and staff
  • Self-starter, conscientious, motivated with a willingness to learn, and take on additional responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple and changing demands that require attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Accuracy and attention to detail skills
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
