Are you a hardworking and motivated individual? A challenging opportunity exists for a Loan Set Coordinator in a very busy CSSD at Norwest Private Hospital on a full time basis.

Norwest Private Hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by Healthscope, a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia. The hospital has 277 beds and is a high acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney’s Bella Vista.

 

As the Loan Set Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking and coordinating instruments loan sets across all surgical specialties
  • Liaising with medical companies and specialty Nurse Unit Manager
  • To ensure completeness of all sets on receiving and dispatch on a strict deadline
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to process instruments efficiently and timely, and manage documentation effectively

 

Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation
  • Previous experience working in a sterilising department
  • Experience with checking in and out of loan equipment
  • Knowledge of Australian sterilisation standard – AS 5369 (2023)
  • Ability to process instruments efficiently and timely and manage material resources
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Established interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills
