We are seeking an enthusiastic Canteen Assistant with a passion for delivering good quality customer service, to join our team.

This role is part time (0.4 FTE – Mondays & Fridays), commencing ASAP.

Pacific Hills Christian School is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Christian school with 1500 students, located in Dural, in the Hills District of Sydney. The School is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW. The School emphasises excellence and growth in Christian character with its vision being ‘to provide a Christian educational community as a centre of teaching, learning, and serving excellence founded on Biblically based beliefs, values, and behaviour’. Job Description

The Canteen Assistant will provide support to the Canteen Coordinator and Canteen Manager in the operation of the canteen during the school term for the school community members.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have basic food safety knowledge
  • Be confident to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping to scheduled timelines
  • Be reliable and responsible
  • Deliver good quality customer service to students of all ages and staff
  • Show a willingness to assist the Canteen Manager and Coordinator as required

Duties will include:

  • Preparing food
  • Replenishing stock
  • Helping keep the canteen in line with set standards
  • Serve students and staff
  • Cleaning of the canteen daily, and conclusion of term
  • Adherence with WHS and Risk Management policies
