Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 40 hours per week
Position Classification: Health Mgr Lvl 2
Remuneration: $106,142 – $125,241 per annum + super and annual leave loading
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Community and Events Adviser is responsible for delivering multiple internal and external events and community relations activities in accordance with the NSW Ambulance annual events calendar and community relations program. Please refer to the Role Description and Position Conditions and General Info for further information.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in event management and in developing and implementing innovative community relations strategies that drive engagement and build brand awareness and reputation.
- High-level stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with a culturally, demographically and geographically diverse audience.
- Ability to identify community health trends and needs and develop and deliver a wide range of community relations programs and collateral in response.
- Strong project management, planning and prioritisation skills, the ability to monitor and measure performance of campaigns and other activities and to use this information to drive continuous improvement.
- Creative and innovative thinker able to apply ideas to develop compelling campaigns and activities to build stronger community relationships.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline combined with relevant experience gained in a complex organisation and an understanding of the machinery of government.
- Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to contribute to the overall goals of the Finance Corporate Services Directorate.
