Currently, we are seeking an Apprentice Administrative Assistant to join one of our dynamic Project Delivery teams.
The Role
In this role, you will offer essential administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth operations and effective project execution.
Main Duties
- Respond promptly to incoming calls, screen, and redirect them as necessary, while accurately recording and relaying messages.
- Oversee the handling of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Facilitate the issuing of ID badges and maintain an up-to-date database.
- Prepare training materials for internal training sessions.
- Ensure adherence to administrative systems and procedures for optimal efficiency.
Essential Qualification & Skills
- Achievement of Level 4/C in GCSE Mathematics and English.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Basic proficiency in IT.
- Punctuality and excellent time management skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
Additional Information
- Salary of £13,312 per annum.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour break for lunch.
- Annual leave entitlement of 21 days, in addition to bank holidays.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Initial six month probationary period.
- Enrolment onto a Business Administration apprenticeship course.
