Responsibilities

  • As a Courier/Driver, you will play an essential role in delivering nuclear pharmacy products and services to and from the company’s clients consisting of hospitals, physician’s offices, community medical centers and other hospital and medical facilities
  • Shift information: Start at 4:30am & work an 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday
  • Ensures the timely delivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards
  • Follow map/directions to locate delivery locations efficiently
  • Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service
  • Acts as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints
  • Informs management of complaints or requests in a timely manner
  • Accepts returns from clients where applicable
  • Breaks down delivery cases, disposes of radioactive materials and sanitizes lead pigs
  • Completes appropriate paperwork for deliveries and returns
  • Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles and facility
  • Assists with the stocking of products and supplies throughout Facility as well as tracking inventory
  • Notifies Pharmacy Manager when products or supplies are low, need to be re-ordered or replaced
  • Performs routine safety checks on vehicles and pre-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines
  • Immediately report all vehicle maintenance issues or malfunctions to Pharmacy Manager
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures while safely carrying out the responsibilities of position
  • Complies with all company safety standards, and all federal, state and local laws
  • Obtains required DOT training and certification
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager
