An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to join the children’s service, in East London, with effect from 01/04/2024.

As our aim is to provide a first-class service for the protection of children, we are looking for applicants who are HCPC registered and have a social work or other professional qualification (e.g. DipSW, CQSW, BASW) only.

Working within a friendly and dynamic team, your focus will be on developing your skills and reputation within the sector, through devising individual care plans and assessing, monitoring and reviewing the social care needs of the children you’re working with. You will also conduct interviews with individuals and families and report your findings within specified standards and timescales.

The role comes with an agreed caseload as well as the requirement to work in conjunction with other agencies to determine the very best care that can be offered.

Your excellent communication skills coupled with accuracy and a good knowledge of relevant legislature mean you fully understand the philosophies and legal framework of professional social work.
