Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Stage LX to work on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW.

Written by Kate Trefry, an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry, co-directed by Justin Martin for the Phoenix Theatre and produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to support the Lighting & Video department. Candidates should be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure as well as having strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting rig checks and running on stage lighting plots, making sure lighting is set to the high show standards.

Experience in theatre on a large-scale production is essential.

Please Note: All applicants must be able to commit to the full contract and must have the right to work in the UK.

Job Location: West End London

Contract Type: Fixed term for 52 weeks, then the contract will be rolling.

Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.

Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Tuesday to Sunday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
