The role: To provide emotional and some practical outreach support in the role of Sight Support Worker for around 70 blind or partially sighted people via a combination of fortnightly outreach visits and phonecalls.
The person: We look to recruit people to join our team who share our values and goals and who are keen to make a difference by joining our dynamic charity. The qualities we hope for in you will be your ability to relate to people effortlessly and you will be motivated by a keen interest in the welfare of others. Your professional integrity, good sense of humour and excellent interpersonal skills are complimented by your caring and courteous manner. The organisation: BlindAid has been providing support for Londoners living with Sight Loss for over 190 years so we have a rich history. We now deliver vital and relevant services to blind and visually impaired people living in the 12 inner London Boroughs and the City of London.
