An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join the Pharmacy Department Team at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust l (West Middlesex Site).
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant who is willing to work within a supportive Pharmacy team keen to develop the pharmacy services. The post holder must possess excellent interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills and able to work with a wide range of professionals.
The successful candidate will be based in the Dispensary and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
Previous experience of working in a pharmacy hospital is essential.
To manage stock control and be a super user for the Rowa
Training rotational assistants and other grades of staffing
Dispense medication in the Inpatient and Outpatient dispensary

STOCK & INVENTORY
Stock control management including putting stock away received from stores, rotating stock/checking expiries where relevant and performing stock control counts.
Ensure dispensary areas are sufficiently stocked with all sundries (leaflets, cards, bottles, bags).
Sort, count, compile and, where relevant, dispose of unsuitable medication returns.
Carry out daily monitoring of fridge and dispensary temperatures.
To release and order stock from Stores.
To be a ROWA Super user and provide training where required.
To monitor all “to follows” drugs
General housekeeping of ROWA.
Adjust stock/expired stock investigations.
