Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Salary: £28,929
Contract: Term time only (39 weeks a year) 36 hours a week, Shifts between 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
Location: Mill Hill, NW7

About the School:
Fairway School is a single form entry Primary school with three nursery classes, taking children from the age of two.
About You:
We are delighted to advertise this position to join our well established and dedicated team as a SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner wishing to make a clear difference to the educational outcomes for
children in primary education.
The candidate will be expected to assist in the development of pupils’ learning, the provision of care and organisation of the classroom.

Fairway School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended 2013 and 2020); pre-employment checks will be carried out, two references will be sought, and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and other relevant checks with statutory bodies.
The school complies with the DBS code of practice and has a Safer Recruitment Policy which outlines the policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders, both of which are available on request. Shortlisted candidates will be required to declare any relevant convictions, adult cautions or other matters which may affect your suitability to work with children.
