At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families. We are a charity, so most of the care that we provide is funded through fundraising and through our shops.
To help us to continue to provide the care that we do, we are looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Admin Volunteer to join us in our head office.
The Role
As a Recruitment Admin Volunteer, you’ll support with all stages of the recruitment process. You’ll get involved in:
- Checking applicant information
- Confirming reference details
- Data entry and cleansing
- Monitoring our social media including research
- Helping to prepare for recruitment events
How much time will it take?
Once trained, volunteering with us is flexible, but ideally, we’d like someone who is available for a minimum of one morning or afternoon a week
This is hybrid volunteering opportunity, so you’ll work from home and join the team in the office on Wednesdays a couple of days a month.

We’re looking for a volunteer who:
- Has admin experience
- Is comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
