Full job description

Overview:

The London Borough of Harrow is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an OD and Learning Advisor – EDI and Wellbeing to join our HR & OD Service.
This role serves a dual purpose: delivering a top-tier OD and Learning Service across the Council, and enhancing our focus on wellbeing and EDI initiatives as outlined in the Workforce Strategy and beyond. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to make impactful decisions regarding employee wellness and equality and diversity needs within the workforce. Additionally, this role involves close collaboration with HR, managers, Directors, and the Corporate Health & Safety team to develop a comprehensive support system for our workforce.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:
  • A passion for supporting EDI and Wellbeing initiatives together with an understanding of how they contribute to supporting organisational effectiveness.
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills with ability to manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of understanding and diagnosing stakeholder requirements and full-training cycle (ADDIE) and use of OD Tools.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a high-volume work environment.
  • Ability to analyse and present basic data for reporting.
  • Experience of evaluating training programmes which evidenced making a tangible difference to the organisation.
  • Gained professional qualifications appropriate to post, e.g., Degree/Postgraduate qualifications in HRM or related field, CIPD or equivalent.
