About the Role
Harvey Group Practice is looking to recruit an experienced or a newly qualified nursing associate, to support our clinical nursing team and improve our patient services within our practice. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis, for 30 hours per week on 4 days. If you are able to be flexible over days/shift patterns please let usa know in your application.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To support the organisation and facilitation of clinical care, in a holistic and proactive manner, to patients registered at the practice, as part of the general practice nursing team and under the guidance of a registered general nurse.
- To maintain a high professional standard of nursing care, in adherence to all practice protocols, policies and guidelines, as well as to provide nursing assistance to the GPs and other members of the primary healthcare team.
- To demonstrate flexibility, in line with the present atmosphere for change within the health service delivery.
- To work within your own level of competency, and expanding the role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice.
About the Candidate
All applicants should have the following:
- Nursing associate degree or foundation degree
- NMC registration
About Us
We are a busy, training practice with 7 GP partners and 4 salaried GPs based in central St Albans and also with a branch site at Jersey Farm. Shifts will include working at both our surgeries. With a list size of approximately 14,500 patients, we support an extended clinical team using our premises including pharmacists, physiotherapist, social prescribers and midwives, supporting our patients. You will be joining a supportive, friendly, approachable and committed team. Our clinical system is EMIS Web.
