Nursery Office Administrator – 35 to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Providing first class administrative support and personal assistance to the Nursery Manager.
- Welcome our parents and children each day and be their first point of contact over email and telephone.
- Ensure the efficiency of the day to day running of the nursery.
- Complete administrative duties, which will include managing the child/ parent database, preparation of paperwork and communication to our invoicing and funding team, raising purchase orders.
- Maintaining a well organised and tidy nursery office/reception.
- Follow the company’s policies and procedures, whilst at all times complying with data protection legislation.
- As the needs of our children comes first, you will be required to occasionally support in base rooms (all training will be provided).
- For this role, you must be comfortable using a computer and systems (all training will be provided).
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience using Microsoft systems.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Confident communicator, both verbally and written.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach.
- Previous office/administration role.
- Understanding of Nursery processes and safeguarding knowledge is desirable.
