We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Medicines Management Pharmacy assistant to join our experienced Medicines Management team at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, reliable person to join our expanding team in Hertfordshire. Candidates must be flexible, hardworking, have good time management and have the ability to plan and organise their workload. This role will include working within a ward setting, as well as supporting the Medicines Management team in the community.
This is a stimulating and diverse post which covers a wide portfolio of services and opportunities to develop many new skills in a patient-centred environment including service transformation and change management opportunities as well as exposure to various community healthcare settings.
The working hours are flexible between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with Flexible and part time hours considered, NO weekend or late shift duties. This provides a fantastic work life balance whilst being a valued member of the Medicines Management team.
The successful candidate will predominately be working within our Bedded services carrying out Medicines Management duties at ward level. They will also have the opportunity work with and support our Community Health Service and PCN teams. In this role you will be expected to travel and work across the large geographical area that CLCH covers in Hertfordshire, where driving a car is an advantage.

The post holder will be responsible for:
The post holder will work in different localities in our trust as part of an integrated team to help ensure patients in the Community Bedded Services have access to high quality clinical Medicines Management.
When in a non-patient facing role the post holder will ensure high standards are maintained within Community Health Services through assisting Medicines Management technicians in safe and secure handling and storage of medicines in accordance with local and national policy and medicines legislation to achieve best practice.
