Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in preparing and administering contrast material
• Transfers images to PACS system with the necessary scanned documents
• Practices sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination
• Adheres to Infection Control Policies
• When necessary must transport patients to and from the Radiology Department
• Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards and built in low dose features
• Responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of CT and IR procedures
• Prepares all accessory materials and/or equipment for all the procedures as directed by the Radiologist
• Examines the study/images for adequacy and makes necessary adjustments
• Assures patients and staff are treated in a courteous and professional manner
• Exhibits respect and awareness of quality of patient

CT Scan Technologist Needed – Hospital Position in Brooklyn
Multiple Shifts Available

Job Description :
