Responsibilities
- As a Digital Fundraising Manager, you’d be managing some of our largest fundraising clients, both political and non-profit
- Additionally, you’d be managing a team of strategists, associates, and fellows to hit fundraising KPIs by applying strategic digital fundraising practices and teaching new and existing employees fundraising content tactics and email/SMS implementation
- Manage a team and work independently
- Drafting and editing fundraising copy
- Mastery of writing email/SMS/ads fundraising drafts and providing our internal team + external clients with creative strategies to construct and solidify fundraising campaigns
- Editing junior employee’s drafts and providing clear instructions to new employees to draft within the parameters of our clients’ voices
- Coding/producing/testing fundraising communications
- Required mastery of ActionKit and at least two more CRMs (NGP, ActionNetwork, Mailchimp, Switchboard, Constant Contact, etc)
- Troubleshoot code errors, produce new ActionKit email wrappers and teach employees how to code for fundraising purposes
- Scheduling and launching emails and SMS with zero errors
- Expert level internal quality control and managing employees to make sure zero errors are made before anything is launched
- External client communications
- Establishing relationships with assigned clients to create fundraising goals and define additional issues in which VNCS can aid with digital/strategic help
- Coordinating with clients on approval schedules/check-in meetings
- Reporting out KPIs and guiding strategy with confidence on client calls
- Internal team management
- Serving as both an instructor as well as a manager to ensure junior team members are fulfilling their assigned day-to-day responsibilities as well as providing guidance and training
- Reporting upward to senior management about junior employee quality of work
- Working with junior employees on career development
- Data reporting
