About the job:
Global Balance Sheet Solutions aims to expand the coverage of the UK financial institutions, AM, Insurance, banks, and real money accounts, jointly with several real money clients in Ireland, Netherlands, Nordics, and Switzerland. The objective is to align with the Global Institutional Business Plan and to increase the revenues obtained from financial institutions in the UK
The number of institutional and financial clients covered by the Global Bankers and DCM in the UK has grown, and GBSS needs to grow accordingly. Additionally, new clients must become productive for GBSS.
We propose this new salesperson position to improve client experience, expand our client base, and increase GBSS UK revenues
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Work within the Sales and Structuring team, in the Global Balance Sheet Solutions Sales Team
- Covering a portfolio of UK financial institutions, insurance, banks and Asset Managers
- Expanding the UK financial institutions’ client base, establishing new client relationships
- Originating solutions like structured repos, secured financing transactions, loan portfolio financing and illiquid assets distribution
- Generating new revenues for GM UK.
Requirements :
- Academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Business or related fields.
- Required at least 3 years of experience in trading, structuring, or sales in Global Markets in an international bank.
- Experience in solution structuring or
- Experience in trading in BBVA.
- Experience with BBVA booking and trading tools.
Language skills:
- English: Proficient level required.
- Spanish: Highly valued but not mandatory.
