Overview:

Bounce Back is a Charity and a Social Enterprise that works with people both inside and outside of prison who may be at risk of or have a history of offending and substance use. We have been part of the Change Grow Live family since 2020. Bounce Back are focused on supporting people to change the direction of their lives and reduce offending, to shape a society where everyone can look forward to a bright future.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive people person who thrives under pressure and is adaptable to the demands of a changing environment to join our Employment Services team.
As Employment, Training & Support Coordinator you will support economically in-active participants within the borough of Southwark to access training and employment opportunities and enable them to engage effectively with treatment and recovery services.

Where: 
Southwark with travel to Bounce Back head office & network of prisons
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £24,500 – £27,500 dependent on experience
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until March 2025

Responsibilities:

The successful Candidate will have:
  • Extensive experience of working within Recruitment, Careers Coaching or other relevant Information
  • Advice and Guidance positions
  • Experience of supporting participants with challenges with substance use
  • Experience of the criminal justice system
  • Knowledge of the issues and challenges related to complex needs and employment
  • Experience in delivering employability training either 121 or groups
  • A working knowledge of safeguarding and risk management procedures
  • IAG Level 2 desirable or a willingness to obtain
  • Strong IT skills, including proven experience of using and maintaining a database
