ELECTRICIAN

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electrician to join our skilled, professional and motivated team operating in sites in London and all over the South East. The company is a mature, successful and growing electrical contractors based in Maidstone, Kent.

THE ROLE:

As an Electrician you will:

· Perform, to the very highest standards of workmanship, a mixture of commercial & industrial installation, maintenance, diagnostic and remedial works to clients’ electrical installations, fire alarms and associated systems.

· Travel to and from sites primarily across the South East of England daily and between sites during the working day.

· Occasionally perform works further afield including overnight stays.

· Uphold the highest safety standards when performing all tasks and report any potential risks to the health and safety of themselves and others to the management team.

· Perform all works in accordance with specific risk assessments, method statements and in line with company safe systems of work.

· Use company IT equipment to record and log all works and complete all associated paperwork in a timely manner.

· Source materials from wholesalers and autonomously carry works from office instruction through to completion.

· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018 and any and all subsequent revisions and updates.

· Work and liaise with the Contracts Manager and Operations teams to help to run the business as efficiently as possible.

· Any other duties as required to assist in the operation and expansion of the business

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

You will be a proactive and methodical individual with excellent knowledge of the most recent wiring regulations and at least 2-years’ experience as a JIB Approved Electrician. You will have a keen attention to detail, exceptional quality and workmanship standards as well as with the ability to work well as part of a team. You will have a proven track record of working with and showing leadership amongst colleagues on commercial and industrial sites.

You shall have:

– Short portfolio containing examples of recent installations completed to a high standard

– ECS gold card

– BS7671:2018 18th edition

– C&G 2391 inspection and testing or equivalent

– Full set of tools to perform works

Desirable qualifications:

– IPAF powered access license

– PASMA mobile scaffold tower user license

– Electric Vehicle Charging Qualification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £47,000.00 per year
