Industry Experience: 2 Year+

Desired Skills:

• Apache httpd, Apache Tomcat, Nginx web servers and Varnish cache. • UNIX (RHEL/AIX/HP-UX/Solaris) and Windows based environments (Windows 2000/2003/2008 and Windows 2010.) • Software tools: Matlab, Mentor Graphics, Opnet, Elasticsearch. • Programming Languages: Python Django, Flask and other similar scripting tools • Open Source and other no-SQL / SQL DBs: MongoDB, CouchDB, RDBMS SQL, Oracle, MS-SQL • Front-end languages: Javascript, Angular2 framework • Kibana and Geneos tools. • Knowledge of LAN & WAN Protocols: HDLC, PPP. • Knowledge of Configuration of VLAN and Switching protocols like VTP and STP. • Not essential to have knowledge of all the above listed programming languages and technologies, but the more the better.

Desired Experience:

• Experience in developing and supporting the project environments. • Experience of CI / CD processes using multiple deployment toolsets. • Experience of schema design to administration in MongoDB, Apache CouchDB, Elasticsearch, Oracle and MS SQL Server. • Development experience in Javascript, Angular2 frontend framework, Python with Flask web backend microframework, experience with Python Django. • Expertise in shell scripting, Python and Perl programming. • Good knowledge of capacity planning and performance tuning. • Experience using Kibana and Geneos for platform and project dashboards. • Installation, deployment, hot-fix, patching, release and configuration management experience. • Better if experienced in the design, implementation and administration of reliable, low latency and efficient messaging solutions (not mandatory) • If you have similar experience i.e. you have experience in above areas but using different toolsets, that’s fine as well.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree (preferred in Computer science or Networking) or A Levels with Computing with some Certificate or Diploma in Programming Languages or IT Toolsets listed above.

Duties:

• To develop the required platform environments as per project delivery requirements. • Help designing the code merging working environment, and CI / CD structures for deployments of projects. • To work with peer programmers, software developers & Solution Designers to understand the detail of the project requirement and proposed solutions and accordingly develop the integration, environment, and continuous deployment framework using different programming languages and tools e.g., Jenkins etc. • To liaise with Project Manager and PMO team and follow the task and timelines and report progress and delays. • Highlight any risk and issues to deployment completion timelines to PMO team. • To work with co-team members and developers and support Testing phases, as multiple test runs may be needed to execute in parallel, so support that.
