If you are passionate about the construction and home building industry, have excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to help people, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Consultant to join our high performing Construction team in our Norwest or Beresfield office.

THE ROLE

As a Pre- Construction Customer Service Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our client customer interactions, ensuring that each touchpoint is infused with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Your role will be pivotal in fostering strong relationships with our customers, providing them with the support they need throughout their construction journey with us.

Your day-to-day tasks would involve but not limited to:

  • Liaising with customers, via regular phone calls and emails, building rapport and addressing their needs during the preconstruction journey.
  • Ensuring customers are well informed of the steps throughout the journey from contract signing all the way through to construction, sending written communication and necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating closely with the permits team, to obtain information to provide updates to the clients on the progress of their file throughout preconstruction, and to answer customer questions when necessary.
  • Extensive management client reports & paperwork to suit when necessary. Forecasting each file to move to construction within applicable timing.
  • Working closely with each client to obtain all finance documentation and assistance to move the file to construction as promptly as possible.

To be successful for this role you’ll need:

  • Proven track record in customer service or related fields.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
