Responsibilities

Description
The Assistant Director will develop and track key metrics and
review learning outcomes across all student employment and
internship roles. Demonstrates a strong commitment to experiential
learning, and maintains an assessment plan to track a record of
success in fostering meaningful connections between students,
faculty, and the community.
The Assistant Director has an in-depth understanding of the current
landscape of experiential learning, including internships and
student employment as high impact practices. They implement the
process for student employment and internship grant allocations to
support students and supervisors with on campus work and unpaid
internships. They support international, undergraduate and graduate
students through both processes.
Examples of Duties
Student Employment
• Create and implement a robust student employment program
framework and structure, outline the student hiring timeline,
ensure posting of open positions on the job board, and work with
departmental supervisors to coordinate accurate budgeting for
positions.
• Draft a revised mission and values statement for the student
employment program inclusive of Federal Work Study and Pratt funded
student employment.
• Support departmental supervisors with development of job
descriptions, hours and learning outcomes.
