Your role
Our catering team take enormous pride in providing a high standard of catering within the hospice. We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work alongside our team to ensure we meet the needs of the families, children and young people that we cater for.
We are looking for someone who is a motivated team player, is interested in and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of kitchen cleanliness, food preparation and good customer service is maintained. Duties will include the preparation of food, basic cooking, food service, kitchen hygiene. You will also play a key role in ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy.
Holding an Elementary Certificate in Food Hygiene would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Flexibility – all working patterns will be considered. Flexible working options. Shifts available: Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.- Salary: hourly rate in line with Real Living Wage, and transparent salary increment scale.
