Job Overview

We are looking for an airfreight import coordinator to join our team in London Heathrow warehouse. They will be in charge of arranging import clearances and deliveries of fast moving goods.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and manage airfreight inbound shipments
• Liaise with the transport suppliers to arrange the collections and deliveries
• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import declarations
• Updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise
• Support other members of the import team as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Liaise with airlines / airport handlers in a professional manner in order to meet operational requirements and maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports

Requirements:

• 2 years previous experience in import freight forwarding / logistics is a must
• Possess a positive and can-do attitude
• Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Works well under pressure and is able to multitask in a fast paced setting
• Knowledge of customs regulations and import procedures required
• English language required
• No criminal convictions – subject to full DBS check

TERMS & PACKAGE:

• Full time, permanent contract
• 100% office based
• 21 Days holiday / calendar year + Bank holidays

Schedule:

Monday to Saturday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
